Visit to my specialist, stock up at the dispensary, one very shocked bank account later ... at least I'll get half the appointment fee back.
Blood test results mostly good, add one more supplement, go back on Vitamin D, keep taking everything else, keep working on pacing ... yeah, it's all a bit frustrating because we've already tried everything! And I'm still not better! Better than I was, at least, and that's what I hope for these days.

Fortunately I'd been keeping money aside for the doctor's visit, etc and I had some left over for the Last Borders Visit. *sigh* We've now visited the three closest to us and found some good deals before they close down for good.
We needed more bookshelves before those visits. I think we need even more now.
... I know we need even more now.
But there was one spectacularly awesome deal that wasn't from Borders, it was from another bookshop in the centre (probably the only halfway decent one within range soon.) Mum saw this book, Equus by Tim Flach, ages ago in Borders and went oooh but at $110? Yeah, that wasn't happening. Found a still wrapped copy in the other store, discounted from $100 to $19.99. I am not joking.
Mum is very happy.
