It was still worth it

Post-exertion fatigue in full swing; I've spent most of the day huddled in a chair trying not to move. Fortunately, I had some bones defrosted to give the dogs so they're happy with me. And it poured with rain yesterday so the garden's set for a few days!
The blasted cat, on the other hand, managed to slip out when Roz came over to feed them last night. I found him on the back porch when I got home. He was soaking wet and one eye was bloody. *sigh* The eyeball looks okay, as far as I can tell. It seems to be a scratch on the top eyelid which is impressively swollen but I cleaned it and there's still some ointment from last month when the same thing happened. Hopefully it won't mean a second vet visit in one week.
Stupid cat. I said to him, you realise that your house arrest was almost over and now it's probably extended by a week? You great twit.
Did I mention my head hurts? What's the point of prescription headache pills if they don't shift the headache?
But I have happy, happy memories of last night to keep me going. I managed to write an entire recap post in my head but I don't think it's getting typed out tonight.
Has anyone else encountered guys wearing lycra bodysuits (with full hoods) to concerts? We saw at least four yesterday. It was very strange.
