They catch food with their feet!
Dec. 29th, 2011 11:50 pmDefinitely feeling better today. More alert and I didn't need to lie down at all!
But I didn't push it and kept myself quiet by reading Darwin and the Barnacle all day. A bit dense but very interesting. I'd read in other books about Darwin putting away his Origin of Species papers for eight years to study barnacles but I never knew why he did that. And having read this book, it now makes perfect sense! Also, while I still have zero interest in reading a book about barnacles, reading a book about why Darwin and others studied them does make them seem a good deal more intriguing - and relevant to Darwin's theories.
Good sleep tonight and I think (hope!) I'll be fine for Macbeth tomorrow ...
