venetia_sassyI did not rest properly yesterday, after the outings of Saturday, and wound up with a foul headache which kept me awake for hours. Oops?
I fiddled with the pappardelle with bacon, cabbage and thyme again and concluded that it is definitely something to make again. But I think I'll use a different pasta. Pappardelle is really quite awkward to eat. And then I made a half-batch of these Chocolate Chunk Cookies (reducing the sugar a bit , yeesh) which were nice enough but not a patch on the I Want To Marry You cookies. Then I lost track of time online for a while.
Yeah, not resting. Today, I have done nothing more strenuous than filing my nails (in stages) and putting half-a-dozen books away. I'm currently reading my third Miss Marple book for the day in preparation for the ones I bought on Saturday. I think this counts as resting.
