Consistently, predictably, dependably, unwaveringly ERRATIC

It's supposed to drop ten degrees tonight. I'm all for it but I continue to say, 'WTF?' to the weather this summer. My joints are aching and made it hard to sleep last night but I don't know if that's anything to do with the weather. Probably just aftereffects of last week.

We had Chicken and Cucumber Salad with Sesame-Ginger dressing tonight (added some shredded wombok, finished the rice vinegar yesterday so used apple cider vinegar instead, and didn't have any miso.) It was really good!

The crepuscule rose Mum was given for Christmas is blooming and it's gorgeous. Soft, blushing peach with a soft scent. I keep thinking I should start taking pictures of the garden.

I spent a good deal of this month feeling like hell - but apart from that, I'd say it was a good month! I saw a play, went to a make-your-own pizza party, completed every day of the Fandom Snowflake Challenge, tried out several new recipes, did a little writing, read at least 15 new books (mostly non-fiction), bought some books and oh, yeah, saw My Chemical Romance in concert. Twice.

I could have done without the headaches and all but I think the good outweighed the bad this month.
